I have to touch twice to switch a light

Try these in order

1. Wake LED on Touch may be on. Your first touch only wakes the lights; the second touch switches the load.
2. To switch on the first touch, turn off Wake LED on Touch in the app, or set its time to 0 seconds.
3. You can also hold Button 3 on the remote for 10 seconds to turn Wake LED on Touch off.
