Connect to the iotics app — Smart Plug
Before you start
- The app pairs your plug with your home Wi-Fi, so you can control it from anywhere.
- Your Wi-Fi must broadcast a 2.4 GHz signal (the plug supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n).
- Keep your phone within 10 feet of the plug while you set it up.
- Download the iotics app from the App Store or Play Store.

Plug it in
Plug the Smart Plug into a wall socket and switch the socket on. A new plug starts in setup mode by itself.
Setting it up again? Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 20 seconds, until the LED starts toggling.

Install the iotics app
Install iotics from the App Store or Play Store, then open it.

Sign up or sign in
New to iotics? Tap Sign Up, type your email and choose a secure password. Already have an account? Sign in.

Tap Add New Device
Tap the menu (☰) at the top right, then tap Add New Device.

Choose Smart Plug and finish
From the list of devices, choose Smart Plug and follow the steps in the app to connect it to your Wi-Fi.
