The motor starts or stops at the wrong level

Try these in order

1. Check the tank sensors are at the levels you chose (about 25% and 90% of the tank capacity by default).
2. Clean the float sensors to remove dirt, algae or scale.
3. Check that the sensors are still firmly fixed in place.
